A revenue intelligence platform that records and analyzes sales conversations, surfacing deal risk, coaching insights, and forecasts from what reps actually say.
What is
Gong
Gong is a revenue intelligence platform. It captures calls, emails, and meetings across a sales team, transcribes and analyzes them, and surfaces what is actually happening inside deals. The aim is to turn raw conversations into data leaders and reps can act on, instead of relying on memory and gut feel when a deal slips. Under the hood it records and transcribes every interaction, then applies AI to flag deal risk, track talk patterns, and roll activity into pipeline and forecast views. Nothing relevant gets logged by hand, and patterns surface across the whole team rather than one rep at a time. Gong is the heavy, best-in-class conversation intelligence option, and that weight is the tradeoff. For most clients Nebor works with, lighter CI tools cover the need at far lower cost and complexity. The full Gong suite earns its keep mainly for bigger teams already running real sales motions with the call volume to justify it. Where a client does run Gong, its call insights are genuinely useful upstream. They reveal which messaging actually lands, and that signal can feed back into outbound and Clay workflows so the top of funnel reflects what truly closes. The value is real; it just fits larger orgs more than the lean teams we build for.
Integrations and the modern GTM stack
Gong's partner ecosystem, 250+ strong, puts conversation intelligence wherever revenue work happens:
Salesforce | Conversations tie to accounts and opportunities in both directions, and deal warnings show up on the records your team already reviews. |
HubSpot | Native CRM sync brings the same intelligence to mid-market teams. |
Zoom and Teams | Gong captures calls wherever they happen, no behavior change needed. |
Slack | Real-time alerts and call digests land in channels. |
ZoomInfo and Zapier | Enrichment and automation partners inside the Gong Collective. |
MCP server | Gong's official MCP support connects it to AI agents from Anthropic, OpenAI, Microsoft and Salesforce, so an assistant can pull call insights into whatever it is helping you with. |
API and webhooks | A public API for calls and stats. One nuance: event notifications are set up through Gong's automation rules rather than the API. |
