A LinkedIn and email outreach platform rebuilt around wealth advisors, with tracked content sharing, a Twilio-backed dialer and a compliance audit log.
What is
Poseidon
A wealth advisor spends the day on client meetings and referrals, and nobody in that day also researches forty prospects, writes to each one, sends the market commentary and logs it all for compliance. Poseidon was built for that squeeze, running LinkedIn and email outreach for advisors out of a single workspace. Campaigns are multi-step sequences that mix LinkedIn connection requests, LinkedIn messages, email and call reminders, built from templates and sent through a Chrome extension so the activity comes off your own account. Contacts enrich themselves from profile data, and every touch is timestamped into a log built to satisfy FINRA and SEC recordkeeping. The content library is the part worth understanding. You load market commentary, guides and PDFs, send them as tracked links, then watch who opened a document, how long they stayed and which sections held them, and turn those readers into retargeting audiences. The dialer records calls and runs on a Twilio account you connect during onboarding. For a B2B software or services team, Poseidon is now the wrong shop. Every template pack, case study and calculator on the site is pointed at RIAs chasing AUM, both tiers are quote-only, and Nebor has not run it. HeyReach and lemlist cover the same LinkedIn and email motion at a published price.
Integrations and the modern GTM stack
Poseidon connects to a short list of things an advisor's practice already runs on, and the split matters more than the count. LinkedIn sending happens in your browser, CRM sync is tiered, and the dialer only works once you bring your own telephony account.
LinkedIn and Sales Navigator | The Chrome extension puts a tab on LinkedIn, Instagram and GitHub profiles so you can save a person as a lead, drop them into a cadence or write a one-off message. Sending runs off your own logged-in session, and Sales Navigator adds InMail and better targeting on top. |
HubSpot | Available on both tiers, syncing contacts and writing outreach activity back so the CRM record shows what the sequence did. This is the CRM path most solo advisors and small firms will take here. |
Salesforce | Contact sync, activity tracking and campaign management across both systems, restricted to the Firm-wide Growth tier. If Salesforce is your system of record, that gating decides which quote you are asking for. |
Twilio | The integrated dialer with call recordings runs on an external Twilio account and is configured during onboarding, so calling costs and number provisioning sit with you. Budget for it as a separate line rather than assuming a phone system is included. |
Zapier and the API | Zapier covers the long tail of apps Poseidon does not connect to directly, and an API with webhook support is offered by request. We found no public API documentation, so anything custom starts with a conversation rather than a docs page. |
Google Tag Manager and ad retargeting | Tag Manager deploys tracking without touching code, and the shared content pages feed custom ad audiences built from people who opened your documents. That link between a tracked PDF and a retargeting audience is unusual in this category. |
Compliance and archiving | Message logging, timestamps and exportable audit trails are native and aimed at FINRA recordkeeping and the SEC Marketing Rule. There is no named connection to Smarsh, Global Relay or Hearsay, so a firm already archiving through one of those should ask how the two records reconcile. |
What is missing | No native link to Instantly, Smartlead or Clay, no n8n app, and nothing that lets an enrichment workflow write straight into a Poseidon cadence. If your data lives in Clay tables, the route in is Zapier or the API by request. |
Pro’s
Every connection request, message and document share is timestamped into an activity log that cannot be edited or deleted, and an advisor who has to hand an audit trail to a compliance officer will not get that from a general sequencer.
Sending a market commentary as a tracked link and seeing that a prospect read seven minutes of it gives a rep a real reason to follow up, and the same reading behaviour can be pushed into custom ad audiences for retargeting.
LinkedIn steps, email steps, call reminders and the dialer live in the same workspace, so a solo operator avoids paying for a sequencer, a LinkedIn tool and a calling app on three separate invoices.
Sending runs through a Chrome extension on your own LinkedIn session rather than a cloud login, and Poseidon throttles connections, profile visits and messages so activity does not spike the way it does with server-side automation.
The same team will run the whole motion for you, covering profile work, sequences, weekly content and reporting, which suits a principal who is never going to log into a sequencer on a Tuesday morning.
G2 carries 74 reviews at 4.8 stars with the built-in dialer and the single-workspace setup named repeatedly, so the small group of people who do use it are warm on it.
Cons
Neither tier publishes a price and we found no free trial, so evaluating it costs you a demo and a proposal before you know the number, and the $299 that G2 and Capterra still carry is a leftover from the old self-serve product that the two listings describe differently.
The product is aimed squarely at registered investment advisors now, from the LinkedIn templates to the AUM calculator to every case study, so a B2B software team buying it inherits a roadmap pointed at wealth management.
The dialer needs an external Twilio account and gets wired up during onboarding, so you are running telephony and paying Twilio yourself instead of getting a phone system that works on day one.
The Chrome extension that carries the LinkedIn sending shows 187 users on the Chrome Web Store, a small footprint for a tool whose main channel depends on that extension keeping pace with LinkedIn.
The service side is contracted like an agency, with a 12-month engagement and one opt-out at month 6, and the acquisition sourcing offer runs $12,500 a month on the same terms.
