UserGems

Job-change tracking for your past champions and buyers, wired into Salesforce or HubSpot, with AI agents that score the account and draft the outreach on top.

What is

UserGems

The champion who ran your pilot last year, argued your case internally and signed the deal turns up at a new company on your target list, and nobody on your team notices for six months. UserGems exists to catch that moment, watching the contacts in your CRM and telling you when one of them moves. You feed it the cohorts that matter, usually opportunity contacts, product users, closed lost and churned accounts, and it rechecks them every two to four weeks against LinkedIn and other public sources. A move creates a new contact record in your CRM, links it to the old one and flags the old record as no longer there. Around that core is the rest of the platform. There are 21 or more native signals now, from new hires and promotions to funding and public filings, plus an agent called Gem-E that scores accounts on 600 plus ICP criteria, drafts sequences and pushes tasks into Outreach, Salesloft and Gong Engage. For most teams we would build this signal in Clay rather than buy it at $36,000 a year. We have not used UserGems, and the champion watch we build reads the same LinkedIn moves into the same sequences for a fraction of that. Paying makes sense when the list is huge and nobody in-house will maintain it.

Integrations and the modern GTM stack

UserGems is built to layer on top of a CRM and a sales engagement platform, so the integrations are less about data pipes and more about where the signal gets written and who gets told. Several of the connections you will see in a demo are add-ons below the Elite tier, so check the plan before you count on one.

Salesforce

The deepest connection and the one with its own implementation guide. It imports opportunity contacts and Salesforce reports as tracking cohorts, creates and enriches contacts and leads, links the new record to the old one, flags departures as no longer there and writes tasks for the owner. A sandbox is included on every tier.

HubSpot

Has a parallel implementation guide and the same record creation and enrichment. HubSpot also feeds signals back the other way, since marketing email opens and clicks and web form submissions can both act as triggers inside a UserGems campaign.

Outreach, Salesloft and Gong Engage

Workflows auto-enroll and auto-remove contacts from sequences, and email engagement inside Outreach and Salesloft comes back as a signal. Reps see the reason to reach out through the Gem-E Chrome extension without leaving the tool, and Salesloft Rhythm is where the free Starter job-change play lives.

LinkedIn, Meta and Google Ads

A campaign can push a scored, verified contact audience straight into the ad platforms so ads and outreach hit the same buying group at once. This needs the ABM Agent add-on on Core and Advanced and is only included at Elite, and UserGems claims match rates above 80 percent off its verified data.

Slack and email alerts

Any workflow can end in a Slack or email notification, with conditional logic on top, so you can alert an owner only when an open-opportunity contact visits the site or when a past champion lands at a target account. This is how most teams consume the job-change signal day to day.

Google Calendar and Outlook

The Meeting Assistant captures external attendees from calendar invites, creates and enriches them in Salesforce under the right account and opportunity, and does the same retroactively for past meetings. Calendar capture is an add-on on Core and Advanced and included at Elite.

UserGems MCP

Added on every tier, this connects the platform to Claude or ChatGPT as an MCP server so you can build audiences, launch always-on campaigns and enroll contacts by prompting. It executes rather than only returning data, which is the part that separates it from a read-only enrichment MCP.

Third-party signals and the API

Existing intent from 6sense or Demandbase, Clay tables, product usage and custom webhooks can all be piped in as inputs to the scoring model instead of being replaced. The public API returns an enriched profile from an email address, which is the route if you want the job-change data inside your own system.

What is missing

No native link to Instantly, Smartlead or Lemlist, so cold email infrastructure stays outside the loop and you reach it through the API or a webhook. The pricing table names Salesforce and HubSpot as the supported CRMs even though Dynamics appears elsewhere in their material, ad support stops at LinkedIn, Meta and Google, and there is no self-serve signup for the paid product.

Pro’s

  • Job-change tracking is the part they have done longest and the plumbing shows it, because a move creates the new contact record, links it to the old one, flags the old record as no longer there and routes the lead by persona, seniority or target account.

  • Contacts are rechecked every two to four weeks against a claimed bounce rate under 5 percent, and they will do a free data test on your own contact list before you sign anything.

  • The scoring model is open, so a manager can read the weights across 600 plus ICP criteria, edit them and preview the new account ranking before saving, and most account-scoring vendors keep that closed.

  • Everything lands where reps already work, inside Salesforce, HubSpot, Outreach, Salesloft and Gong Engage plus a Chrome extension, so nobody has to log into another tool to see why a contact surfaced.

  • The full price list is on the public pricing page with the contents of each tier, and every plan carries a money-back guarantee of 1x to 3x ROI in closed-won revenue, which is rare at this end of the market.

  • Month one brings a backlog rather than a trickle, since by their own count more than a fifth of your tracked contacts have already changed jobs, and after that you get 2 to 4 percent of the list moving each month.

Cons

  • The floor is $36,000 a year plus a $3,000 implementation fee, and on that Core tier the writing agent, research agent, contact-level intent, web de-anonymization, ABM agent and CRM hygiene are all behind add-ons, so the demo you watched costs more than the sticker.

  • Volume depends on things outside your control, because you get 2 to 4 percent of your tracked contacts moving in a month, so a 5,000-contact list throws off a couple of hundred alerts and that number falls whenever the hiring market slows.

  • A refresh cycle of two to four weeks means an alert can land weeks after the move, and G2 reviewers report duplicate contacts, stale job-change notices and the occasional wrong email or title.

  • It sends nothing itself, so the bill lands on top of your CRM and a sales engagement platform like Outreach, Salesloft or Gong Engage before it earns a cent.

  • The accuracy claims move around their own site between 90 percent, 96 percent and 97 percent, and the 40 to 60 percent they pin on Clay's waterfall enrichment comes from their own comparison page, so treat the figures as marketing until your own data test comes back.

How it fits your stack

Diagram showing how UserGems fits into a GTM stack: your crm (Salesforce, HubSpot) feed into UserGems, and its output flows to signal table (Clay), warm outreach (Lemlist, HeyReach), rep alerts (Slack).

Alternatives

If the job-change watch is the part you want, Clay reads the same LinkedIn moves across your champion list and writes the new contact straight into your CRM, Trigify covers the wider LinkedIn signal layer, and HubSpot or Salesforce workflows carry the alerting and routing once the record lands.
