Salesforce

The enterprise CRM standard, deeply configurable and built to scale, the source of truth large GTM teams report into and feed clean data toward.

What is

Salesforce

Salesforce is the enterprise CRM standard. Sales Cloud, its core, is the system of record for accounts, contacts, opportunities, and forecasting, built to model almost any sales process and scale to the largest organizations without hitting a ceiling. Depth and configurability are its strength. Custom objects, fields, flows, and the vast AppExchange let teams shape the platform around genuinely complex processes, while Agentforce and Einstein add AI on top. That power is also its weight. In a GTM stack Salesforce is the source of truth everything reports into. Outbound, enrichment, and intent tools sync to it, and it drives forecasting, territory management, and RevOps analytics across large teams from one consolidated dataset. At Nebor, Salesforce is one of three CRMs we build on. We architect CRM and RevOps infrastructure on top of HubSpot, Salesforce, or Pipedrive depending on what you already run, so we reach for Salesforce when that is the platform a client already operates. When you run Salesforce, we wire our Clay engine and outbound stack into it so every workflow pushes data back with the correct attribution and timestamps. It is powerful but heavy, so we treat it as the system to feed rather than fight. The win is reliable data flowing in, not rebuilding what your admins spent years tuning.

Pro’s

Depth and configurability handle complex sales processes other CRMs cannot model.

It scales reliably to very large teams and high data volumes.

The AppExchange and API ecosystem connect it to nearly any GTM tool.

Reporting, forecasting, and territory tooling are best in class for enterprise RevOps.

As the market standard, talent and integration support are widely available.

Cons

Cost is high and climbs fast with edition, add-ons, and AI credits.

Setup and administration are complex, often needing dedicated admins or consultants.

Annual billing is required on every paid edition above the Starter Suite.

The interface is heavier and slower to adopt than lighter CRMs.

Agentforce, Einstein, and Data Cloud usage stack meaningful extra cost.

Alternatives

Salesforce is the source of truth, not a thing you swap out. What matters is what keeps it clean. Clay is the data and routing engine, Apollo supplies contact data, and n8n wires the CRM into the wider stack.
