Valley

An AI SDR that watches LinkedIn for warm signals, researches each prospect across 200 or more sources, and sends the message from your own account.

What is

Valley

Valley watches your LinkedIn for people who already showed interest, researches each one, writes a message in your voice and sends it from your own account. The signals it works from are profile viewers, post engagers, company page followers and the people following your competitors, plus lists you import from Sales Navigator or a CSV. Every prospect gets scored against an ICP you define, and anyone who misses it is dropped before a message is written. Valley says it reads 200 or more sources per person and that its writing model was trained on 500,000 real messages, so openers reference a post, a funding round or a podcast the person appeared on. Sending happens natively inside LinkedIn through connection requests and InMails, on a dedicated IP, at roughly 25 to 30 requests a day and 1,000 to 1,200 messages a month per seat. Email is only a notification channel here, so a multi-channel motion still needs Instantly or Smartlead running alongside it. We would run Valley as the LinkedIn half of an engine and keep a human on the approval step, because the list and the offer decide the outcome far more than the writer does. A bad list automated faster is still a bad list, and this category has a record of thin results behind loud claims.

Integrations and the modern GTM stack

Valley's integrations split into two jobs. Getting people in, which is signals and list imports, and getting the outcome out, which is your CRM, Slack and a calendar. The sending side has one channel and it is LinkedIn, so anything involving email lives in a second tool.

LinkedIn

The only sending channel. Valley connects your personal account and sends connection requests and InMails natively, on a dedicated IP with randomised timing, at roughly 25 to 30 requests a day and 1,000 to 1,200 messages a month per seat. Valley says no customer account has been flagged since October 2023.

Sales Navigator and CSV

Two ways to bring your own list in when the warm signals are not producing enough volume. Sales Navigator searches and saved lists import directly, and a CSV upload covers anything built elsewhere in Clay or an enrichment tool.

Instantly

A native handoff rather than a data sync. Inside Instantly you categorise a lead as interested, out of office or non-responder and push it to Valley in one click, and Valley picks up the email thread context, researches the person and drafts the LinkedIn follow-up. This is the closest thing to a multi-channel motion Valley offers.

HubSpot

Listed on the pricing page as included on both self-serve tiers so replies and booked meetings land against the CRM record. Salesforce is not named anywhere we looked, so a Salesforce shop should ask before assuming parity.

Clay

Also listed as an included integration, which is worth noting because Valley's own marketing positions the product as a replacement for a ChatGPT plus Clay plus HeyReach plus Phantombuster stack. If you already run Clay, the sensible pattern is Clay owning the list and the scoring and Valley owning the LinkedIn send.

Slack and email alerts

Replies and positive responses get pushed to a Slack channel and to email so a human sees the conversation while it is warm. This is the surface where your approval step lives, since the drafting and sending run without you once a campaign is live.

API

API access appears on every self-serve tier on the pricing page and is used for pushing leads in programmatically. We could not find public API documentation, and one third-party listing still records Valley as having no public API, so ask for the docs before you plan a build around it.

What is missing

No email sending of any kind, no SMS or phone, and no native Zapier or n8n app that we could find. Smartlead, Lemlist and Salesforce have no listed connection, so if your sending infrastructure is one of those, Valley sits beside your stack rather than inside it.

Pro’s

  • The signal list is the strongest part of the product, because someone who viewed your profile or engaged with your post last week is a warmer opening than a cold Sales Navigator export will ever be.

  • ICP scoring deletes poor-fit prospects before any message is written, so your research spend and your daily connection quota go to people who could plausibly buy.

  • Sending runs through your own LinkedIn account on a dedicated IP at 25 to 30 requests a day, and Valley reports zero suspensions across more than 1,000 accounts it manages.

  • The price is published on the site and starts at $149 a month billed quarterly, which is rare in a category where most vendors hide the number behind a demo call.

  • The Instantly connection pushes a categorised email lead straight into LinkedIn follow-up from inside Instantly, so an existing cold email motion can hand off warm replies without a CSV round trip.

  • A 7-day trial with no feature restrictions lets you point it at your own list and read the drafts before you commit to a quarter of billing.

Cons

  • Valley sends on LinkedIn alone, so email here means notifications and a full outbound motion still needs Instantly, Smartlead or Lemlist paid for on top.

  • The headline of 15 to 45 percent reply rates comes from Valley's own reporting on warm signal traffic, and we found no independent benchmark that supports the range.

  • G2 holds too few reviews to publish a rating, so third-party evidence is thin, and among the handful posted there is a complaint about high cost against results that never showed up.

  • Published prices disagree across Valley's own pages, with the pricing page at $149 and a comparison post quoting $400 a seat, so confirm the number in writing before you budget.

  • The whole model rests on your list and your offer being right, and an AI SDR pointed at a mediocre list simply reaches the wrong people faster and burns the profile doing it.

How it fits your stack

Diagram showing how Valley fits into a GTM stack: account lists (Clay, Apollo), your crm (HubSpot, Salesforce) feed into Valley, and its output flows to booked meetings (Calendly, Cal.com), your crm (HubSpot, Salesforce), rep handoff (Slack).

Alternatives

Valley only touches LinkedIn, so the rest of the motion has to sit elsewhere. AiSDR and Artisan both run email and LinkedIn under one AI, 11x sells the same promise with a longer and messier public record worth reading first, and HeyReach covers LinkedIn at agency scale while you keep control of the copy.
