ConnectAndSell

A network of trained human agents dials your list, gets past receptionists and phone trees, and hands your rep a live conversation the moment a real person picks up.

What is

ConnectAndSell

ConnectAndSell fails the moment your reps cannot fill an afternoon with talking, because what you are buying is people rather than software. A team of human agents dials your list, works past receptionists and phone trees, and hands a rep a live conversation that is already in progress. Which mode you buy decides what your rep hears when the line opens. Express Connect passes over the first live human the agents reach at the account, while Precision Connect keeps an agent working the gatekeeper or the executive assistant until the named target on your list picks up. The agents never speak to your prospect. Their job ends at the handoff and the rep takes the conversation from the first hello, so the model earns or loses its keep on how ready that rep is to talk. The company puts the difference at one or two live conversations an hour by hand against eight or more on the platform, and it passed 100 million dials back in 2015. CASSi, the AI layer added since, enriches and ranks phone numbers, scores calls and writes the follow-up notes. We would sign this only for a floor that already lives on the phone all day. Nebor has never put a client on it, and with seats quoted rather than published and billed by the year, an idle seat here is the most expensive silence in your stack.

Integrations and the modern GTM stack

ConnectAndSell is a calling service rather than a piece of your data stack, so every integration does the same two jobs. It pulls a call list out of the system your reps already work in, then pushes dispositions, recordings and notes back so nobody is retyping outcomes after a session.

Salesforce

The deepest connection of the set. Leads, contacts and opportunities feed the dial list, call results sync back automatically, and a Lightning dialer lets a rep launch a ConnectAndSell session from inside Salesforce instead of a separate console.

HubSpot

Listed in the HubSpot App Marketplace as a calling app. It pulls contacts into a session and logs dispositions uniformly against the record, which reviewers name as one of the smoother parts of the setup.

Outreach

Set up in four steps: configure the API connection between the two systems, mirror your Outreach call dispositions into ConnectAndSell, build a test call list and load it to confirm the data flows. Call tasks in a sequence become the dial list.

Salesloft

A listed marketplace partner. The pitch is turning a queue of one-at-a-time call tasks into a single high-velocity session, so a day of Salesloft call steps is cleared in an hour of live conversations rather than an afternoon of manual dialing.

Microsoft Dynamics 365

Supported alongside Salesforce and HubSpot as a CRM of record, with call data syncing back in real time. Worth confirming the field mapping during onboarding, since Dynamics is the least documented of the three.

Gong and Chorus

Conversation intelligence runs on top of the calls once they connect, so recordings and transcripts land where your team already reviews coaching. CASSi also scores and transcribes calls natively, which means some overlap if you already pay for Gong.

RightBound

Named on the platform page as a partner for outbound orchestration, feeding accounts and prospects into the calling motion. Treat it as a niche route rather than a mainstream one, since it appears in far fewer customer accounts than the CRM connections.

What is missing

No public API documentation, no Zapier or n8n app, and no Clay connection. If your prospecting lives in Clay or a warehouse, the list reaches ConnectAndSell only by passing through Salesforce, HubSpot, Dynamics, Outreach or Salesloft first. The product also has no email, LinkedIn or SMS steps, so multichannel sequencing stays in whatever tool you already run.

Pro’s

  • The agents absorb the part of cold calling that eats the most hours, since receptionists, phone trees and voicemail boxes are handled by someone whose only job is getting past them.

  • Precision Connect has no real equivalent in software, because a person can talk an executive assistant into putting the call through in a way no autodialer has ever managed.

  • ConnectAndSell puts the jump at one or two live conversations an hour against eight or more, and reviewers on G2 and Capterra back the volume claim even while they complain about the price.

  • The free Test Drive runs a live day on your own list with your own messaging and needs no CRM work, so you can count real conversations before anyone signs a contract.

  • Dispositions and call data write back into Salesforce, HubSpot, Dynamics, Outreach and Salesloft, and a Lightning dialer lets a Salesforce-first team start sessions without leaving the CRM.

  • Flight School bundles a messaging workshop with four instructor-led three-hour calling sessions for up to five reps, and running that training on live connections beats roleplay for a new hire.

Cons

  • You pay for a seat rather than a conversation, so a rep who spends half the week in internal meetings turns the subscription into a brutal cost per conversation.

  • Every price is quote only on an annual term, and public estimates run from $300 a seat each month on Capterra to $1,000 and well beyond in third-party breakdowns, so budgeting means booking a sales call first.

  • Reviewers on TrustRadius and G2 report lag at the handoff, dropped calls and a session start that involves dialing in and entering codes, and that friction lands on the rep every single day.

  • The product only does the phone, so email, LinkedIn and SMS steps still sit in whatever sequencer you already pay for and the two have to be kept in step by hand.

  • There is no public API, no Zapier app and no Clay connection, so lists go in and outcomes come out through the CRM and sequencer integrations or they do not move at all.

How it fits your stack

Diagram showing how ConnectAndSell fits into a GTM stack: call lists (Clay, Cognism), your crm (Salesforce, HubSpot) feed into ConnectAndSell, and its output flows to conversations (Gong, Fathom), your crm (Salesforce, HubSpot), sequences (Outreach, Lemlist).

Alternatives

Orum and Nooks reach live humans with software instead of a payroll of agents, at a fraction of the seat cost, though neither will talk its way past an executive assistant. Trellus rides on top of the dialer you already own for a few dollars a rep. Salesloft carries the sequence and the task list that feeds a calling block.
