Orum

A parallel dialer that calls up to ten numbers at once, filters out voicemails and screeners, and bridges a rep onto the line in under half a second when a person picks up.

What is

Orum

In 2023 the connect rate across Orum's whole platform was 5.3 percent, which puts a rep roughly nineteen dials away from one live human. Orum is a parallel dialer built for that arithmetic, calling several numbers at once and handing a rep the line only when a person picks up. Launch gives you five lines and Ascend ten, with the AI dropping voicemails and screeners on its own and bridging the rep in under half a second so the prospect does not hear dead air. Number rotation, country matching and daily spam monitoring on Vonage numbers keep one caller ID from burning out. Around the dialer is Salesfloor, a virtual room with live leaderboards and manager listen-in, and an AI coaching add-on that scores every call and stages roleplays off more than a billion calls Orum has carried. Scout, the phone-data agent it bought in July 2026, ranks which number is likeliest to reach someone. Buy Orum when your reps live on the phone and hold a verified mobile list deep enough to feed ten lines an hour. We have not used it at Nebor, where client work starts with signal and enrichment. A dialer performs only as well as its numbers, so it belongs downstream of enrichment like FullEnrich or LeadMagic.

Integrations and the modern GTM stack

Orum layers on top of a system you already own rather than replacing one, so every integration is about pulling a call list in and pushing the outcome back out. The set is short and it is all sales tooling, with no data warehouse, no Zapier app and no automation platform on the list.

Salesforce

The deepest of the connections. You point Orum at a Salesforce report to build a dialing list, and call activity, dispositions and recordings sync back to the record in both directions. This is the route most teams use to decide who gets called on a given morning.

HubSpot

Dial straight from a HubSpot list with contact and company detail shown in the call window while the phone rings. Activity logs back to the contact timeline. G2 reviewers file 44 mentions of integration issues, so budget time to check that dispositions map the way you expect.

Outreach

Orum handles the calling task inside an Outreach sequence so a rep works the day's call step without leaving the cadence. Orum also documents an Outreach Kaia connection, which keeps call recording and transcription inside the tool your managers already review.

Salesloft

Prospect details appear during each call and activity syncs back to the Salesloft cadence, which matters because a parallel dialer chews through a call step faster than a rep can log it by hand. Setup is documented in Orum's own support centre.

Gong

The most useful pairing for a coaching-led floor. Orum connects to Gong Engage flows so a rep goes from a to-do to a live conversation in about half a second, and every outcome and recording lands in Gong for scoring alongside your AE calls.

Apollo

Call activity and prospect detail sync between the two, which is the cheap path for a team already buying contact data and sequencing from Apollo and adding Orum only for dial speed. Apollo also markets its own dialer, so expect overlap.

Webhooks

Sold as a paid add-on rather than included, available on all plans, delivering call events in real time to any endpoint you configure. This is the only route we found for pushing Orum data somewhere that is not one of the six named apps.

What is missing

No public API documentation, no Zapier or n8n app in the listing, and no native connection to Clay, a warehouse or a reverse ETL tool. Phone data has to arrive through your CRM, and Orum bought Scout in July 2026 precisely because that number quality is the weak point.

Pro’s

  • Orum publishes the mechanics behind its own speed, including a bridged-to-connect metric it tells customers to hold above 50 percent, so you can see how often the AI put a rep on a live person rather than a machine.

  • Boost Connect picks a better number than the fallback nearly 60 percent of the time and lifts connect rates by a median of about 18 percent, and a vendor showing the delta of one feature is rare in this category.

  • Hot Numbers surfaces the records that have answered before, and Orum reports connect rates as high as 30 percent during those sessions against the 5.3 percent platform average.

  • Salesfloor and the coaching suite handle the management problem that arrives with volume, because a leader can drop into a live call and score it instead of pulling a recording the next day.

  • It plugs into Salesforce, HubSpot, Outreach, Salesloft, Apollo and Gong including Gong Engage flows, so dispositions and recordings land where your team already reviews them.

  • The July 2026 Scout acquisition points the roadmap straight at phone data quality, ranking numbers against 30-plus sources and the outcomes of more than a billion calls Orum has already carried.

Cons

  • Orum publishes no prices and both plans carry a nine-seat minimum on an annual term, so third-party reports of roughly $250 per user each month on Launch put the floor near $27,000 a year before add-ons.

  • Orum's own reporting has parallel dialing converting connects to meetings at about 3.8 percent against 6.4 percent on power dialing, so the volume you pay for comes with thinner conversations.

  • G2 reviewers log 101 mentions of call issues and 57 of connection issues across 781 reviews, and the recurring complaint is a beat of silence at pickup that a prospect hears as a robocall.

  • International calling, ten-line parallel and the coaching suite are all on Ascend, so a European or multi-region floor cannot work on the cheaper plan.

  • You still have to buy verified mobile numbers somewhere else, and Scout is in gated preview, so the data that decides whether the dialer works is a separate line item today.

How it fits your stack

Diagram showing how Orum fits into a GTM stack: call lists (Clay, Cognism), your crm (Salesforce, HubSpot) feed into Orum, and its output flows to conversations (Gong, Fathom), your crm (Salesforce, HubSpot), sequences (Outreach, Salesloft).

Alternatives

Orum dials the numbers you already have. FullEnrich and LeadMagic are where those mobile numbers come from in the first place, Salesloft carries the sequence and the task list that feeds a dialing block, and Gong records and scores what was said once a call connects.
