A deliverability suite that seed tests inbox placement, parses DMARC reports and watches blocklists and DNS records, bundled together from $59 a month.
What is
GlockApps
GlockApps is an email deliverability suite that has been running since 2009. It tests where your mail lands across the big mailbox providers, turns your DMARC reports into readable dashboards, watches blocklists and IP reputation, and checks every two hours that your SPF, DKIM and DMARC records are still intact. Placement testing here is seed based rather than live. GlockApps hands you more than 100 addresses across Gmail, Google Workspace, Outlook, Microsoft 365, Yahoo, AOL and corporate servers, you send your real campaign to them from your own sending setup, and the report shows inbox, spam, promotions tab or missing per provider. Each test costs one credit from a monthly allowance, and the same report carries spam scores from SpamAssassin, Barracuda, Proofpoint, Microsoft EOP and Google's own filter, plus authentication, content and blocklist checks. DMARC analytics runs alongside it on unlimited domains, with 10,000 messages free every month. For a marketing team sending newsletters from one domain, GlockApps is the most complete deliverability tooling at this price, with Validity Everest starting above $1,000 a month. We have not run GlockApps at Nebor. Its seed list never engages with your mail, so it reads a newsletter blast better than forty mailboxes sending one to one.
Integrations and the modern GTM stack
GlockApps is not wired into the cold email stack the way newer deliverability tools are. It connects to sending accounts so tests can run on a schedule, it pulls Gmail's own reputation data in, and everything else is alerts going out or an API you call yourself.
Gmail and Google Workspace | A sending account connects by OAuth or SMTP so automatic tests fire on a schedule instead of you pasting the seed list into a campaign by hand. Sending account count is the main thing the plan tiers gate, at one on Essential and twenty on Enterprise. |
Microsoft 365 and Outlook | Same connection method, and this is the pair worth watching closely. Reviewers report seed accuracy is weakest against Google Workspace and Microsoft 365 business inboxes, and that is exactly where B2B outbound has to land. |
SendGrid, Mailgun, Amazon SES, SparkPost, Mailjet and Klaviyo | The ESP side. Because the test message leaves through your own account, the seed list sees your real IP, domain, headers and rDNS rather than a shared sender, which is what makes the result mean anything. |
Google Postmaster Tools | Connects your Postmaster account and pulls Gmail's domain reputation, spam rate and authentication data into the same dashboard as the placement results. This is the closest thing to Gmail's own view of you that GlockApps can show. |
Slack and Telegram | Where the alerts land. Automatic test results, blocklist hits and uptime failures push into a channel on the schedule you set. There is no auto-pause on a mailbox or domain, so the alert is the entire intervention and a human has to act on it. |
API v2 | Documented with Swagger, cURL and Postman examples, and it hands back a fresh seed list every time a test is created so scheduled runs never fire at a stale list. Capterra reviewers call the documentation thin, so budget engineering time if you plan to automate against it. |
DMARC and DMARKOFF | You point your domain's RUA reports at GlockApps and it parses the XML into a dashboard covering who is sending as you and whether those messages authenticate. Domains are unlimited on every tier including free, while DMARKOFF domains are counted separately at three, six or nine by plan. |
What is missing | No native connection to Instantly, Smartlead, Lemlist, Clay, Zapier or n8n. Saleshandy documented GlockApps as a manual side trip involving a copied ID string and now points users at its own Inbox Radar instead, which is a fair signal of how this tool sits next to modern cold email platforms. |
Pro’s
Four jobs arrive on one bill, so placement testing, DMARC parsing, blocklist watching and record monitoring stop being four separate subscriptions with four separate logins.
The enterprise comparison in this category is Validity Everest at north of $1,000 a month, and GlockApps covers most of the same placement and reputation ground between $59 and $129.
A spam verdict comes with a named engine attached, since the report scores your message separately through SpamAssassin, Barracuda, Proofpoint, Microsoft EOP and Google's own filter.
The free tier gives you 10,000 DMARC messages a month across unlimited domains, which is more generous than most dedicated DMARC vendors charge for.
The v2 API ships with Swagger, cURL and Postman examples and returns a fresh seed list on every test, so scheduled runs never fire at a stale list.
Capterra reviewers put it at 4.8 across 40 reviews and keep naming support response time, which counts when a placement drop needs a human the same afternoon.
Cons
The seed methodology was built for newsletter sends, and reviewers report it reads least accurately on Google Workspace and Microsoft 365 business inboxes, which is the only placement a B2B outbound team cares about.
Credits expire at the end of the month with no rollover, and a la carte packs work out at roughly $3.80 to $5.67 per test, so teams end up testing to spend the allowance.
Essential at $59 covers a single sending account, so any outbound setup running ten or forty mailboxes sits on the $99 or $129 tier before it tests one real thing.
Capterra reviewers describe the API documentation as thin and the interface as due for a refresh, and a platform shipping since 2009 does show its age next to newer cold email tooling.
It diagnoses and it alerts, and it will not warm a mailbox, sell you domains or pause a burned sender, so every fix it finds is still yours to carry out by hand.
