MailReach

Warmup and inbox placement monitoring for mailboxes you bought elsewhere, priced per mailbox at $19.50 a month, and not to be confused with Mailreef.

What is

MailReach

MailReach is an email warmup and deliverability monitoring tool. It connects to mailboxes you already own at Google, Microsoft, or any provider that supports SMTP, exchanges friendly mail with a network of real accounts to build sending reputation, and does placement tests that show whether your outreach lands in the inbox or in spam. One piece of housekeeping before anything else. MailReach at mailreach.co is a different company from Mailreef at mailreef.com, which also has a page on this site. Mailreef sells you the mail servers and the mailboxes, and MailReach warms and watches mailboxes you bought somewhere else. Warmup goes up to 100 emails a day per mailbox against a network of real Google and Microsoft accounts, and MailReach refuses to let you warm with your own templates, since one template recycled through thousands of inboxes is the exact pattern filters hunt for. Pricing is $19.50 per mailbox per month. Warmup as a category has weakened since Google and Microsoft tightened bulk sender rules in 2024, and the spam placement we see usually traces back to the list or the volume per mailbox. MailReach still earns its keep as the layer that tells you where mail is landing before a client does.

Integrations and the modern GTM stack

MailReach connects at the mailbox level rather than the campaign level, so the list below is mostly about which mail providers it can log into and how you automate it across a fleet.

Google Workspace and Gmail

Connect a Google mailbox and MailReach warms it against its network of real accounts, tracks placement in Gmail, and checks the domain records behind it.

Microsoft 365 and Outlook

Same setup on the Microsoft side, with placement reporting split out by provider so you can see Outlook landing separately from Gmail.

Any SMTP provider

MailReach states it works with any email service that supports SMTP, which covers custom domains on your own servers as well as the mainstream workspace providers.

SendGrid, Mailgun, Amazon SES

Transactional and bulk ESPs are supported through the same SMTP route, so a sending platform can be warmed and tested the same way a mailbox is.

Zoho, Brevo, Mailjet

Listed by MailReach as supported providers, which matters if a client is outside the Google and Microsoft duopoly.

Sequencers such as Smartlead, Instantly, lemlist and Apollo

There is no native app inside these tools. You point MailReach at the same mailbox your sequencer sends from, and warmup continues in parallel with the campaign.

Warmup API and Spam Test API

MailReach publishes an email warmup API and an email spam test API, so an agency can provision mailboxes in bulk and pull placement results into its own reporting.

What it does not have

No CRM connectors, no Zapier app and no MCP server that we could verify. One third-party review mentions Slack and webhook alerts, and MailReach's own site does not list them, so confirm that before you plan around it.

Pro’s

  • The $19.50 per mailbox covers warmup and at least 20 spam test credits, so warming and monitoring arrive on one bill instead of two tools.

  • It works with any provider that supports SMTP, including Google Workspace, Microsoft 365, SendGrid, Mailgun, Amazon SES and Zoho, so it layers onto whatever sending setup a client already has.

  • Refusing to warm with your own templates is a sound deliverability decision, because recycled template patterns across a warmup network are what filters are built to catch.

  • Placement results are broken down by provider and paired with blacklist and authentication checks, which gives you a specific thing to fix rather than a vague score.

  • User sentiment is consistently strong for the warmup itself, at 4.7 on G2 across 42 reviews and close to 5 on Capterra across 22.

  • Warmup and spam test APIs, inbox tagging and batch settings make it workable for an agency watching dozens of client mailboxes at once.

Cons

  • Pricing is per mailbox and scales in a straight line, so a 40-mailbox fleet lands around $620 to $780 a month on top of what you already pay for those mailboxes.

  • Warmup carries less weight than it did before Google and Microsoft tightened bulk sender requirements in 2024, and reviewers of this tool say so openly, so the ceiling on what warming can rescue has come down.

  • There is no free trial on the warmup side, and the free tier is three spam checks a day without an account.

  • Spam tests are point-in-time checks against a seed list that users report holds only around 18 business inboxes, so B2B placement can read cleaner than a live campaign performs.

  • It warms and it measures, and it cannot repair a scraped list, weak copy, or 100 sends a day pushed through a single mailbox.

How it fits your stack

Diagram showing how MailReach fits into a GTM stack: sending accounts (Mailforge, Zapmail) feed into MailReach, and its output flows to cold email (Smartlead, Instantly, Lemlist), reputation alerts (Slack).

Alternatives

MailReach warms and monitors mailboxes you bought elsewhere. If you want the diagnosis and the fix rather than the warming, look at Folderly. If the real gap is the sending infrastructure underneath, Mailreef, Zapmail and ScaledMail sell the mailboxes and domains themselves.
