NeverBounce

A ZoomInfo-owned email verifier that prices per address from $0.008 down to $0.002 at volume, refunds the difference if a cleaned list bounces above 3 percent, and re-verifies your CRM on a daily schedule.

What is

NeverBounce

NeverBounce takes a list of email addresses and tells you which ones will bounce before you send to them. It returns one of five verdicts on every address, valid, invalid, disposable, catchall or unknown, and you decide what to do with each bucket. Behind that verdict is a proprietary process of more than twenty steps that checks each address up to 75 times from servers around the world, covering DNS and MX records, parked domains, syntax typos it repairs for free, and a live conversation with the receiving mail server. There are three ways into the product and they cover most of what a team needs. You upload a CSV to the dashboard, you call the API at the point of entry on a signup form, or you connect Sync to HubSpot, Salesforce or Mailchimp and let it re-verify the whole database on a schedule you set. NeverBounce is the one we would put on a large marketing database, because the delivery guarantee and the daily Sync schedule are built for that job. We would not use it as the verifier in a cold outbound waterfall, since it flags catch-all addresses without resolving them and catch-alls are where B2B lists lose most of their volume.

Integrations and the modern GTM stack

NeverBounce advertises 80+ integrations and the catalogue backs that up on count, but the shape of it tells you who the product was built for. It is a marketing and forms catalogue with a strong API bolted to the side, so the route into a modern outbound stack is usually the API or Clay.

HubSpot, Salesforce and Pipedrive

The CRM side of Sync. You connect the account once and NeverBounce re-verifies contact records on a daily, weekly or monthly cycle, reporting which contacts were cleaned, kept or removed. Salesforce Pardot, Freshsales, Insightly, LeadSquared, Salesmate, OnePageCRM and noCRM.io are all listed as well.

Mailchimp, ActiveCampaign, AWeber and Marketo

The heart of the catalogue and the use case NeverBounce is genuinely built around, keeping a large sending list clean so the ESP does not throttle you. MailerLite, Mailjet, SendGrid, SparkPost, Moosend, CleverReach, SendPulse and iContact are in the same group.

Zapier and n8n

The general-purpose route for anything without a native connector, with n8n given its own page of no-code workflow blueprints. This is how most teams wire verification into a pipeline that NeverBounce has never heard of, and it works well enough that the missing native connectors matter less than they look.

Forms and landing pages

Typeform, JotForm, Google Forms, Wufoo, Cognito Forms, Paperform, Unbounce, Instapage, ClickFunnels and a long tail of survey tools. Paired with the JavaScript widget, this is the point-of-entry play, catching a typo while the person is still on the page rather than months later in a bounce report.

The API

Version 4.2, with official wrappers for cURL, Node, PHP, Python, Ruby, Go, Java and .NET, and multiple API keys per account through Custom Integration apps for separate reporting. NeverBounce recommends a client-side timeout of about 10 seconds and treating any timeout as an unknown.

Clay

Clay ships a Validate Email with NeverBounce action that calls the single verification endpoint from inside a table. You bring your own NeverBounce API key on a paid Clay plan, so it bills your NeverBounce credits and not Clay credits. This is the practical route if you want NeverBounce inside an enrichment waterfall.

ZoomInfo

Same company since the DiscoverOrg acquisition in 2018, and NeverBounce appears in the ZoomInfo app marketplace. Every page on neverbounce.com carries a ZoomInfo Technologies copyright, and the G2 listing is filed as NeverBounce powered by ZoomInfo.

What is missing

No native Instantly, Smartlead, Lemlist, Apollo or Clay connector. QuickMail is the only cold email sender in the whole catalogue. Several listed partners are also dead or sunset products, including Bronto, Revue, Contactually, Highrise and Autopilot, which suggests the directory has not been pruned in years.

Pro’s

  • Volume pricing goes properly low, from $0.008 on a first thousand credits down to $0.002 once you buy two million, and the whole ladder is published on the pricing page rather than hidden behind a sales call.

  • The delivery guarantee has a number attached to it, so a cleaned list that bounces above 3 percent gets the difference refunded instead of turning into an argument about methodology.

  • Sync connects to HubSpot, Salesforce, Mailchimp and ActiveCampaign and re-verifies the database daily, weekly or monthly, which keeps a marketing list clean without anyone remembering to export it.

  • Turnaround is fast at roughly three minutes for 10,000 addresses, and the free bounce analysis works on a list of any size before you spend a single credit.

  • The API is properly built out with official wrappers for Node, PHP, Python, Ruby, Go, Java and .NET, plus a drop-in JavaScript widget for signup forms.

  • Deduplication and syntax repair are free, so a misspelled gmai.com is corrected rather than billed to you as an invalid address.

Cons

  • Catch-all addresses come back labelled catchall with no per-address confidence score, and the guidance NeverBounce publishes is a population heuristic that accept-alls bounce at about half your list's invalid rate, which leaves a B2B sender guessing on the biggest segment.

  • Credits expire 12 months after purchase, stated in small print under the pay as you go box, and that puts it behind ZeroBounce pay as you go and BounceBan where credits carry on indefinitely.

  • Unknown results still consume a credit while telling you nothing, and unknowns cluster on the smaller and international mail servers where a verifier is supposed to earn its money.

  • The integration catalogue reads like 2018, with Bronto, Infusionsoft, Autopilot, Contactually and Highrise still listed and no native connection to Instantly, Smartlead, Lemlist or Clay.

  • ZoomInfo has owned it since 2018 and the Growth plan now bundles 200 AI-picked leads a month, so the roadmap answers to a data platform rather than to teams who wanted a verifier and nothing else.

Diagram showing how NeverBounce fits into a GTM stack: enriched lists (Clay, Apollo), your crm (HubSpot, Salesforce) feed into NeverBounce, and its output flows to cold email (Smartlead, Instantly), your crm (HubSpot, Salesforce).

Alternatives

ZeroBounce is the fuller platform when you want inbox placement testing and blacklist monitoring wrapped around the verifier. DeBounce is the cheaper option for plain bulk hygiene, and BounceBan or Scrubby are what to reach for when your list is thick with catch-all domains that NeverBounce will only label.
