What is

Prospeo

One credit buys one verified work email on Prospeo and ten credits buy a direct mobile, with nothing charged when the lookup comes back empty. It finds and verifies contact details for people you can already name, from a LinkedIn URL, a full name and domain, or a company website. The finder is now the front door to a searchable database rather than the whole product. Prospeo ships people and company search with 41 filters at the top tier, Bombora intent topics, AI lookalikes, a Chrome extension that works on any page, CSV enrichment up to 20,000 rows, and CRM sync into HubSpot, Salesforce, Pipedrive and Close. The accuracy claim is worth reading carefully. Prospeo says its verification is over 98% accurate at identifying the status of an address and that anything marked valid bounces under 5%, which describes the verifier rather than how often it finds a person. Coverage figures on its own site span 280 million to 800 million contacts. Prospeo belongs as a rung in your waterfall rather than the tool that replaces one. The pay-on-success billing and free re-enrichment inside 90 days make it cheap to try in a Clay table, and we would run it in first position against FullEnrich, LeadMagic and Findymail on your own list before trusting the database side.

Integrations and the modern GTM stack

Prospeo connects two ways, and the difference decides what you can build. The native integrations push enriched leads out of the Prospeo dashboard into a CRM or a sequencer and are gated by plan tier. The API route is open from the free plan up, which is how Clay, n8n, Make and Zapier all reach it.

Clay

Three actions in Clay's library: find a work email from name and domain, find every address on a domain, and find a work email plus enriched person data from a LinkedIn URL. Clay bills 2 credits per enriched cell on its managed account, or you paste your own Prospeo key on Starter, Explorer and Pro and pay Prospeo directly.

CRMs on Growth and above

HubSpot, Salesforce, Pipedrive, Zoho, Close and monday.com all take pushed leads and companies. HubSpot and Salesforce go further with automatic enrichment of new records, a CRM health scan for missing and stale fields, and deduplication. These connections are shared across the team rather than per user, and only one CRM can be connected at a time.

Sequencers and dialers

From Starter up, enriched leads push into Outreach, Salesloft, Lemlist, Instantly, Smartlead, Woodpecker, Reply.io, Salesforge, EmailBison, ActiveCampaign and JustCall. Outreach and Salesloft are team-level connections. Everything else is linked to the individual account, so each rep connects their own.

Public API

REST endpoints for enrich-person, enrich-company, bulk enrich, search-person, search-company and account info. Rate limits are the real tier difference: Starter gets 5 enrich calls a second and 2,000 a day, Pro gets 30 a second and 500,000 a day. Search is metered separately and much harder, at 1 a second on Starter and 5 on Pro.

MCP server

Available on every plan including free, exposing search and enrichment to Claude, ChatGPT or any MCP client. Prospeo publishes a setup guide for connecting Claude directly. If you are building agent workflows rather than table workflows, this is the cheapest way in and it spends the same credits.

n8n, Make and Zapier

All three are API integrations rather than native apps, available from the free plan, and they are the answer whenever your platform is not on the native list. Prospeo's own docs point you here for anything unsupported, and its support team takes integration requests.

Chrome extension and Google Sheets

The extension runs on any page rather than only LinkedIn, so a company website or a social profile both work, and it spends the same credits as the app. The Google Sheets add-on starts at Starter and enriches rows without leaving the sheet, which suits a small team that has no interest in Clay.

What is missing

No native Salesforce or HubSpot enrichment below Growth, no rollover of unused credits on any plan, and CSV enrichment is blocked entirely on free. Bulk file work also caps at 20,000 lines, 50MB and 200 columns per upload, so a large one-off migration has to be split by hand.

Pro’s

You are charged only when a verified result comes back, and re-enriching the same record inside 90 days costs nothing across the whole team, so an empty row on a hard list leaves your balance alone.

A mobile lookup costs ten credits and includes the email for free, which puts a verified direct dial around 25 cents on the entry plan and under 17 cents on Pro.

The credit table is published in the help centre down to the odd cases, including nine credits for a mobile when the email was already revealed and one credit per page of 25 search API results.

Prospeo reaches your stack through Clay, n8n, Make and Zapier on every plan including the free one, so you can wire it into a table before anyone signs a contract.

Search carries filters most finders never touch, covering job postings, funding, technology from Wappalyzer, job changes and Bombora intent topics, so list building and enrichment sit in the same tool.

Cons

Credits expire at renewal with no rollover, and on a yearly plan the entire allocation lands upfront and dies on the anniversary, so a slow quarter is money you never get back.

The 98% figure describes how accurately Prospeo labels an address, and a valid flag that still bounces under 5% is a verifier claim rather than a published match rate on a real list.

Prospeo quotes 280 million contacts on its home page, 300 million on the pricing cards and 800 million in a pricing tooltip, and a vendor that disagrees with itself on database size is hard to plan capacity against.

CRM sync, job change tracking, duplicate control and the deduplication tools all start at Growth, so the hygiene work costs $99 a month per seat before you buy a single extra credit.

One G2 account describes a 1,000 row Sales Navigator import returning 45 emails, and a hit rate anywhere near that on a cold list means Prospeo alone will leave most of your file blank.

How it fits your stack

Diagram showing how Prospeo fits into a GTM stack: prospect lists (LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Clay) feed into Prospeo, and its output flows to waterfall enrichment (Clay), cold email (Lemlist, Smartlead).

Alternatives

Prospeo is one source with its own database behind it, so it wins or loses on that database. If you want many sources queried in one call, FullEnrich and LeadMagic cover more of the file, Findymail is the closest match on verified-only email, and Dropcontact answers the question of where an address came from.
