A LinkedIn-to-CRM extension grown into a full enrichment platform, with a 15-provider waterfall for verified emails and mobiles and writing the result straight into HubSpot, Salesforce or Pipedrive.
What is
Surfe
A rep stares at a LinkedIn profile with the CRM open in another tab, copying a name across by hand for the fourth time that hour. Surfe puts a panel on that profile that finds the person's verified work email and mobile, then writes the whole record into HubSpot, Salesforce, Pipedrive or Copper in one click. Behind that panel is a waterfall of 15 or more providers, with Apollo, RocketReach, Dropcontact, Hunter and People Data Labs named on Surfe's own integration pages and every address checked through ZeroBounce. You can set the provider order by region, connect your own provider keys, and a credit is spent only on a hit. The product reaches well past the extension now, into a web app with people and company search, CSV enrichment, lookalikes, job change alerts, a public API and the Market Signals list library. Surfe claims a 93% find rate, 500 million contacts and 350 million company profiles. We would use Surfe as a rung inside a Clay waterfall before we bought seats for it. Clay already carries it as a Find Email, Find Mobile and Find People provider, so the data reaches a table without a per-rep licence, and the seat model only earns its price when your reps spend the whole day inside LinkedIn.
Integrations and the modern GTM stack
Surfe was built as a bridge between LinkedIn and a CRM, so the deepest integrations are the four CRMs it writes into. The developer side arrived later and is thinner than the CRM side, which matters if your enrichment happens in a table rather than in a rep's browser.
HubSpot | The flagship connection. Contacts, companies and deals appear on top of the LinkedIn profile, adds are one click, LinkedIn conversations sync onto the record and contacts drop straight into HubSpot Sequences. Surfe claims 4 million contacts added a year and 750,000 conversations synced, and calls itself the most installed workflow automation app on HubSpot. |
Salesforce | Same overlay and one-click add, authenticated through Salesforce OAuth so nobody types credentials into Surfe. Surfe reports 750,000 contacts a year added from social profiles this way. CRM data is read on demand over the API rather than copied into a Surfe-side mirror. |
Pipedrive and Copper | Both get the full overlay with deal visibility and one-click adds, and Surfe quotes 3 million time-saving actions and 450,000 conversations synced a year on Pipedrive alone. Copper is the smallest of the four and gets less airtime in the product pages. |
Salesloft, Outreach and Lemlist | Available from the free plan up. You add a contact to a sequence from their profile, or push an exported list in bulk, with the enrichment happening on the way through. This is the closest Surfe gets to sending, since it has no sequencer of its own. |
Clay | Surfe joined Clay's marketplace on 14 July 2025 and now ships five actions: find email, find mobile, find professional profile, enrich company and find people at a company. Surfe says it ranks first in Clay's Find People waterfall. Every action is billed as Clay Credits Only on Clay's own page. |
Google Sheets | Contacts and companies push into a sheet the same way they push into a CRM, which is the usual route for teams without a CRM seat for every rep. Bulk enrichment of an uploaded CSV goes through the Surfe app and returns emails and mobiles in one pass. |
API, webhooks and n8n | A user-specific API key covers people and company search, people and company enrichment, and ICP recommendations. Limits are 10 requests a second bursting to 20, 2,000 enrichments a day and 200 search results a day, with 100,000 a day available once search credits are switched on by support. n8n has published Surfe bulk enrichment templates. |
Gmail and Aircall | Optional connections that let a rep send the email or place the call from the profile itself once the number has been revealed. Useful for a team working accounts by hand, and irrelevant if you send through cold email infrastructure. |
What is missing | No Zapier app, no Make app, no Attio or Pipedrive-style connection to newer CRMs, and no native tie to Instantly, Smartlead or HeyReach. The developer menu on surfe.com lists only API docs, GitHub, webhooks and n8n, so anything else is a custom build against the API. |
Pro’s
The waterfall is named rather than hidden, with Apollo, RocketReach, Dropcontact, Hunter and People Data Labs listed on Surfe's own pages, and you can set the provider order by region so a German list is not queried in US order.
A credit is spent only when contact data comes back, and a mobile search returns the email alongside it, so the misses on a hard list cost you nothing.
The CRM half is the real product, pushing the contact, the company, the deal view and the LinkedIn conversation history into HubSpot or Salesforce while the rep stays on the profile.
Surfe is already a provider inside Clay with five actions covering email, mobile, profile, company and people at a company, so you can measure its coverage in a table before anyone buys a seat.
The EU paperwork is unusually complete for this category, with a DPA updated in February 2026, a published legitimate interest assessment, a public opt-out form and ISO 27001 behind a French company.
Cons
Pricing is per seat and the credits are per seat too, so ten reps on Pro costs $9,480 a year before a single add-on pack, and plan credits stay with the seat instead of pooling across the team.
Mobile credits are the real ceiling at 100 a month on Pro, which works out under five direct dials a working day before a rep has to buy extra packs at a price Surfe does not publish.
The main pricing page prints the monthly allowance under a heading that reads Credits per year, and the US site lists the same plans as 240, 1,800 and 12,000 a year, so 2026 review posts now repeat that Pro gives 1,000 emails a year.
The accuracy story changes by page, moving from a 93% find rate on the product site to 95% accuracy and a SOC 2 Type II claim on the US site, with 500 million contacts quoted next to 360 million professionals in the same block.
Clay lists every Surfe action as Clay Credits Only, so the cheaper bring-your-own-key route that Surfe advertises for Clay was nowhere on Clay's own integration page when we checked it.
