Enterprise ABM and intent platform that scores accounts by predicted buying stage, priced by quote and built for teams with ops support.
What is
6sense
6sense earns its price at one specific altitude, an enterprise with a large addressable market, a marketing ops function to run the thing, and ads plus outbound plus CRM all needing one shared view of the account. Below that altitude most of what you are paying for sits unused. The platform folds third party intent, web de-anonymization, technographics and your own CRM history into a predictive model that hands every account a buying stage and a fit score. Ads, alerts and seller plays then fire off those stages inside Salesforce, HubSpot, Outreach or LinkedIn, so your reps never have to open a second tool. What separates it from buying an intent feed is that 6sense runs its own data network and resolves anonymous web traffic itself, so the signal and the scoring live in one place. Getting there takes real work, because someone has to define the segments, keywords and stage rules first. We would not put a client on 6sense. The scoring that justifies the price is the one part you cannot open up, and a buying stage nobody can explain gets ignored the moment a rep disagrees with it. Bombora, visitor identification and Clay reach most of that signal with rules a rep can read.
Integrations and the modern GTM stack
6sense connects through prebuilt integrations rather than a self serve open API, and the useful flows all revolve around writing account scores into systems your team already lives in.
Salesforce, Microsoft Dynamics, HubSpot CRM | 6sense reads your account and opportunity history to train the model, then writes buying stage, intent and fit scores back onto account and lead records so reps see them in the CRM. |
Marketo, Eloqua, Salesforce Marketing Cloud Account Engagement, HubSpot MAP | Segments built in 6sense are pushed into the marketing automation platform as lists, so nurture and email programs run against accounts the model has flagged as in market. |
LinkedIn, Meta, Google Ads | Account segments are pushed out as advertising audiences for account based campaigns, and 6sense pulls engagement back so ad exposure counts toward the account score. |
Outreach, Salesloft, Salesforce Sales Engagement, Gong Engage | Reps can add 6sense contacts straight into a sequence, and intent plus predictive insight surfaces inside the sales engagement tool so the platform is not a separate tab to remember. |
Bombora, G2, TrustRadius, PeerSpot, Gartner Digital Markets, Informa TechTarget | Third party intent feeds are ingested alongside 6sense's own signals, so if you already pay Bombora or G2 that data can flow in rather than sitting in a separate report. |
Snowflake, AWS S3 | Account scores and intent data can be delivered into your warehouse or object storage, which is the route most teams use for custom reporting and downstream modeling. |
Slack and email servers | Alerts fire into Slack or inbox when an account changes buying stage or a target visits the site, which is what most sellers actually end up using day to day. |
API token (caveat) | 6sense lists an API token integration type in its docs, but there is no openly published API reference the way Clay or HubSpot document theirs, so anything custom runs through their team and the connector list is the practical boundary. |
Pro’s
Account and buying committee data runs deep at enterprise scale, especially across North America.
Intent, de-anonymized web traffic and CRM history land in one account view rather than four disconnected tools.
ABM orchestration is mature, so the same segment can drive ads, nurture and seller alerts together.
Integration coverage is broad across CRM, marketing automation, sales engagement, ad platforms and the data warehouse.
It holds a 4.4 rating from more than a thousand G2 reviews, so the core product clearly works for its buyers.
Cons
Third party data puts the median annual contract above $60,000, which is hard to justify below enterprise scale.
Contracts run annual or multi-year with auto renewal and tight cancellation windows, so a bad fit stays expensive.
Reviewers repeatedly describe the buying stage scoring as opaque, leaving your reps unable to see why an account surfaced.
Full implementation commonly takes three to six months and needs a dedicated ops owner to manage segments and keywords.
Contact accuracy and international coverage draw consistent criticism, so you often still buy a second data source.
