LinkedIn's premium prospecting tool with deep ICP filters, lead and account lists, job-change alerts, and InMail, built on the largest professional graph in B2B.
What is
LinkedIn Sales Navigator
LinkedIn Sales Navigator is LinkedIn's premium prospecting layer for B2B sellers. Its job is to turn the largest professional graph into a targeted account and lead list, using more than 50 filters across role, company, seniority, geography, headcount, and tenure that free LinkedIn search cannot reach. You build saved searches and lead lists, then get alerts when people change jobs, post, or show buying signals. InMail messages contacts outside your network, TeamLink surfaces warm paths in, and higher tiers sync the activity into your CRM. In a GTM stack it is the targeting and signal source at the top of funnel. You define an ICP here, pull the matching people, then enrich and route them through the rest of the system rather than messaging one prospect at a time inside LinkedIn. At Nebor we treat Sales Navigator as a data source we scrape in real time through LeadsFactory.io, not a tool we log into to send by hand. We reach for it when a client's ICP is best defined inside its filters. When that fits, we set the ICP with its filters, pull the audience live via LeadsFactory.io, and feed it into Clay for enrichment and verification before any sequence runs. The job-change alerts also flag timing, so we know when an account is worth a fresh play rather than guessing at the window.
Integrations and the modern GTM stack
Sales Navigator's real integrations are official partner programs, and the fine print decides what you actually get:
Salesforce | On the Advanced Plus plan, Navigator profiles appear inside Salesforce and activity syncs between the two, so reps stop tab-switching. |
Microsoft Dynamics 365 | The same sync, plus embedded extras like Account IQ and relationship maps. |
HubSpot | An official sync and embed partner, again on Advanced Plus. |
Outreach and Salesloft | Navigator profiles appear inside these sequencing tools through LinkedIn's official partner program, called SNAP. |
Power BI and Tableau | Usage and analytics data flows into BI dashboards through the same program. |
No public API | The part nobody advertises: the partner program is closed to new applicants and there is no export API. Every tool that exports Sales Navigator data works unofficially, which is worth knowing when you pick one. |
Pro’s
The professional graph is the most current source of who works where in B2B.
Filters reach ICP segments that no static database can match for freshness.
Job-change and activity alerts surface timing signals you would otherwise miss.
InMail opens a channel to prospects who are not in your network.
It is the cleanest seed list for an enrichment and outbound system to build on.
Cons
There is no native bulk export, so you need a scraper or tool to get the list out.
Per-seat pricing climbs fast across a team and Advanced Plus is custom and costly.
InMail credits are capped, so it is not a real sending channel at volume.
Aggressive scraping or automation risks account restrictions from LinkedIn.
