The visual website builder with a real CMS. In our builds it's the site that carries the forms, the visitor-ID script and the tracking, so a visit becomes a company and a form fill becomes a CRM record.
What is
Webflow
Webflow is a visual website builder with a content management system and hosting built in. Designers build production sites without writing code, marketers edit content and publish, and the CMS turns one design into hundreds of pages. Most B2B marketing sites that change every week run on it or on Framer. For a GTM system the site is where signals start, and Webflow makes that easy to wire. A form submission carries the page it came from and reaches your CRM through native integrations or a webhook. A visitor-ID script from RB2B, Leadinfo or Snitcher drops into the custom code slot and turns anonymous visits into named companies. A Segment or analytics tag does the same for events. Nothing about that needs a developer. In our workflows the site shows up wherever a visit or a form fill is the trigger: website visitor identification, inbound qualification, revenue attribution and product signup all read from it. Because Webflow stamps the source and lets you add tracking cleanly, the visit that later becomes a deal can be traced back to the LinkedIn ad or the blog post it came from. The trade is cost and care. Site plans and workspace seats are separate bills, and the CMS limits on the mid tiers matter if you're building a big programmatic site. But for a marketing site that has to move fast and connect to the rest of the stack, it's the tool we see most, and it holds up.
Integrations and the modern GTM stack
Webflow connects to a GTM stack through:
Forms and webhooks | Every submission fires to your CRM, your automation or Slack in seconds, with the source page attached. |
HubSpot and Salesforce | Native form and CMS integrations write leads and content across. |
Custom code slots | Visitor-ID scripts (RB2B, Leadinfo, Snitcher), Segment, analytics and ad tags, added in a minute. |
n8n, Make and Zapier | Two-way automation: form fills out, CMS items in. |
CMS API | Programmatic pages from your own data, and content pushed from a workflow. |
Pro’s
Marketing owns the site, so a landing page for a campaign ships the same day it's needed, without a ticket.
The CMS is real: collections, references and templates, so a glossary or a workflow library can be hundreds of pages from one design.
Forms and webhooks mean a signup or a demo request reaches your CRM and your automation in seconds, with the source stamped.
Custom code slots take a visitor-ID script, an analytics tag or a Segment snippet in a minute, which is what makes the site a signal source.
Hosting is fast and managed, so nobody on the team runs a server.
Cons
Site plans and workspace seats are billed separately, and the total surprises teams who only priced one of them.
CMS item limits on the mid tiers cap large programmatic sites, and the jump to enterprise pricing is steep.
The visual designer has a learning curve, and a site built carelessly is hard to maintain.
Pricing changed in May 2026, and older comparison articles are wrong about the plans.
