Jiminny

Conversation intelligence for mid-market revenue teams, with its own browser dialer, scoring frameworks a manager builds around their own methodology, and one flat fee with no platform charge on top.

What is

Jiminny

Coaching stalls on most sales teams because nobody has time to sit through calls and find the ten minutes worth talking about. Jiminny records every call, meeting and email a rep has, transcribes it, and organises it so a manager can score and coach without listening to the whole thing. Capture runs through three routes, starting with a Notetaker that joins Zoom, Meet or Teams as a visible participant. A dialer called Sidekick places phone calls on a Jiminny number and logs them to Salesforce or HubSpot, and email sync pulls Gmail or Outlook threads that match a CRM record. The coaching layer is where Jiminny puts its weight. Managers build scoring frameworks around their own methodology, score reps against them, clip moments into playlists, and listen in on a live call without appearing to anyone in the meeting. Deal insights, pipeline alerts and an Ask Jiminny query box sit above that. Jiminny is the sensible pick for a 10 to 50 rep team that wants coaching without Gong's bill, and it earns that on the scoring frameworks and the flat fee rather than on AI. We have not run it at Nebor, and we would push on the two tier features marked coming soon before signing twelve months.

Integrations and the modern GTM stack

Jiminny has to get hold of a conversation before it can do anything with it, so the integration list is mostly about capture. It records video meetings with a bot, places calls through its own dialer, reads calls from two dozen other dialers, and pulls email that matches a CRM record.

Salesforce

An embedded Salesforce App puts calls, transcripts and coaching notes on the record, and Jiminny Voice lets a rep dial a contact, lead, account or task straight from Salesforce with the right object attached to the call. The embedded app sits on the Scale tier and above.

HubSpot

An embedded HubSpot app does the same job on the other side, logging calls and insights against the contact and deal, with auto CRM updates writing fields back. HubSpot also appears in the supported dialer list, so calls placed from HubSpot get pulled in for analysis.

Zoom, Google Meet and Microsoft Teams

A participant called the Jiminny.ai Notetaker joins the meeting, and it can be renamed to your company. Zoom announces the recording out loud and shows the red dot. A single recording caps at 10 hours, and removing the Notetaker mid-call saves the recording if it ran past 10 minutes and deletes it if it did not.

Jiminny Voice and the Sidekick dialer

Jiminny's own telephony, run from the Sidekick Chrome extension. Numbers are assigned in the platform, inbound and outbound both work, calls log to the CRM record you dialled from, and international calls are billed separately. Jiminny publishes an article on what to do when one of your numbers gets flagged as spam, which is worth reading before you scale calling on it.

External dialers

Jiminny lists more than twenty supported dialers, among them 8x8, Aircall, Apollo, Bloobirds, Close, CloudCall, CloudTalk, ConnectAndSell, Dialpad, Five9, HubSpot, InsideSales, JustCall, Kixie, Nooks, Outreach, Orum, RingCentral, Salesloft, Talkdesk, Twilio Flex, Vonage and Zoom Phone. Jiminny uploads and analyses those calls every 15 minutes or sooner, and counts calls that were not recorded in the reporting.

Gmail and Office 365 email sync

Connected over OAuth with read access to mail, then filtered against the CRM. Jiminny extracts sender and recipient addresses, matches them to accounts, contacts and leads, and only imports the emails that match, running a delta every 15 minutes. A rep can switch the import off in their own profile.

Slack

Notifications and sharing rather than analysis. Connect the workspace in organisation settings, then push nudges and alerts into a channel and share a call with a teammate or a public channel without exporting anything.

Zapier and the API

The Zapier app fires on five triggers, covering a conversation being processed, played, shared or exported and a coaching framework being completed, which reaches roughly 5,000 apps. Jiminny also has a partial REST API returning JSON, with an API key you generate yourself in organisation settings, aimed mainly at reporting and custom alerts.

What is missing

No Clay integration, no native n8n app, and the API is described by Jiminny itself as partial, so anything past reporting means Zapier or a middleware step. If your enrichment and routing live in Clay, call data comes across through the CRM rather than directly.

Pro’s

  • Seats are split into Recording, Insights and Listener, and Jiminny charges no platform fee, so a manager who only reviews and coaches costs far less than a rep who records, and the bill stops looking like Gong's.

  • The Sidekick dialer places calls on a Jiminny number from the browser or from inside a Salesforce record, so a team without a phone system can get calling and conversation intelligence on one contract.

  • Beyond its own dialer Jiminny reads calls from more than twenty other providers including Aircall, Dialpad, RingCentral, Outreach, Orum and Zoom Phone, and syncs Gmail or Outlook threads that match a CRM record, so the timeline covers phone, video and email.

  • Coaching frameworks let a manager score reps against their own methodology rather than a vendor rubric, and the silent live stream shows a call while it is running, which is closer to shadowing a rep than reading a summary afterwards.

  • The review base is deep for a company this size, with roughly 930 reviews on G2 at 4.6 out of 5, and ease of adoption and the support team are the themes reviewers keep returning to.

  • Security is documented rather than promised, with SOC 2 Type II available under NDA, HIPAA business associate agreements, GDPR processing terms and a choice of US or European data residency.

Cons

  • Jiminny markets one flat fee and publishes no number for it, so the only figures in circulation are third-party estimates of roughly $83 to $85 per recording seat a month on annual billing, none of them confirmed by the vendor.

  • Two features the tier page leads with, AI Call Scoring on Scale and agentic AI monitoring on Grow, carry a coming soon asterisk, so part of what a Grow contract is sold on has yet to ship.

  • Live coaching lets a manager watch a call in progress in silence and gives the rep nothing while it is happening, so all of the coaching value lands after the call is already lost or won.

  • The minimum contract is twelve months with a one-time setup fee on top, so a team that wants to try conversation intelligence for a quarter gets the 14-day trial and then a year of commitment.

  • Reviewers report transcription and AI summaries slipping on strong accents, background noise and less common languages, and post-call notes taking longer to appear than they expect on busy days.

How it fits your stack

Diagram showing how Jiminny fits into a GTM stack: sales calls (Gong, Fireflies.ai) feed into Jiminny, and its output flows to your crm (Salesforce, HubSpot), coaching (Notion), follow-ups (Gmail).

Alternatives

Jiminny sits in the middle of this category, so the right comparison depends on what you are short of. Gong is the heavier revenue platform when forecasting and deal inspection matter more than coaching, Fireflies is the cheap pick when you only want transcripts and summaries reaching the CRM, Attention goes further on filling CRM fields from what was said, and Aircall is the answer when what you really need is a phone system.
