A French cloud phone system that bundles unlimited calling to 90 destinations for European teams, hands out numbers in 65 countries, and pushes every call, transcript and summary into your CRM through signed webhooks.
What is
Ringover
Unlimited outbound calling to 90 destinations comes bundled with both of Ringover's published plans, and the footnote says your calling number has to sit inside the EEA, the UK, Denmark, Norway or Sweden. Ringover is a French cloud phone system giving a team numbers, a browser dialer, and call records written into the CRM. Numbers come from 65 countries in landline, mobile and toll-free flavours, with up to 20 per user on the Business plan and mobile numbers available one per country per rep. Routing runs through an IVR, call groups and queues that an admin builds in the dashboard rather than a telecom ticket. Outbound volume runs on a Power Dialer capped at 300 contacts per campaign and Cadence, a separate 59 euro add-on that sequences calls, email, SMS and LinkedIn steps. Empower transcribes, summarises and scores calls, and its output reaches your stack through signed webhooks and a REST API. Ringover is what we would shortlist for a team dialing Europe from Europe, since the unlimited-destination bundle and French data residency settle two arguments with procurement before they start. We have not run it at Nebor, and its parallel dialer stops at two lines across three countries, so a cold-calling floor still wants Orum beside it.
Integrations and the modern GTM stack
Ringover runs its own telecom network, so its integration story is less about resold connectors and more about a documented API sitting under roughly 100 native apps. The native list leans heavily toward CRM and recruitment tooling, and anything it does not cover gets picked up by webhooks that carry the call payload out.
HubSpot | Two-way sync installed from the HubSpot marketplace, with click-to-call from any record, a screen pop on inbound, and every call, SMS, voicemail, recording, tag and WhatsApp thread logged onto the contact timeline. The AI summary lands in the logged activity, so a deal record carries the conversation rather than a duration. |
Salesforce | Native CTI with click-to-call, automatic logging against leads, contacts and opportunities, and call recordings attached to the activity. The CRM Autofill add-on at 5 euros a licence writes AI-extracted fields back into Salesforce records, and it is the only CRM that autofill supports so far. |
Bullhorn and the ATS estate | Recruitment is where Ringover has invested hardest, with a Bullhorn marketplace listing plus Avionte, JobAdder, Loxo, Crelate, Vincere, Firefish and Recruitee. Call data syncs to the candidate profile and Empower attaches transcripts, custom summaries capturing salary and next steps, and mood analysis. |
Public REST API | Separate European and US base URLs, API-key auth, and seven permission scopes covering calls, contacts, users, numbers, IVRs, conversations and Empower. A Monitoring toggle widens a key from personal data to the whole team. The rate limit is 2 requests a second per key, which makes a bulk history pull slow. |
Webhooks | Events fire on ringing, answered, missed, voicemail, new message and transcription, signed with HMAC-SHA256 in the V3 scheme and delivered to any endpoint you configure in the dashboard. This is the cleanest route into n8n or Clay, since a finished transcript arrives as a payload instead of needing a poll. |
Zapier, Make and n8n | Zapier has a published Ringover app with triggers for new after-call events, new call events and inbound SMS, plus an action to send SMS. Make and n8n have no maintained native node we could find, so both are wired through the REST API and webhook nodes by hand. |
Empower and Cadence | Empower is the conversation intelligence layer at 39 euros a licence, exposing transcripts, summaries, topic detection, moments and analytics through their own API scope and role system. Cadence at 59 euros a user sequences calls, email, SMS and LinkedIn, and syncs two ways with CRMs including Sellsy. |
SCIM 2.0 and SSO | A SCIM 2.0 server provisions users and groups from Okta or Microsoft Entra ID using the same API key, available on the European base URL only. Azure and SAML single sign-on is a 2 euro per licence add-on rather than a plan feature, so factor it into an enterprise rollout. |
What is missing | No native Clay action, no connector for Instantly, Smartlead or Lemlist, and no Make or n8n app maintained by the vendor. If your outbound engine is built on cold email infrastructure and Clay tables, Ringover reaches it through webhooks and API calls you write, and the 2 requests per second ceiling shapes how you write them. |
Pro’s
Both published plans bundle unlimited outbound to 90 destinations when the calling number sits in the EEA, the UK, Denmark, Norway or Sweden, so a European floor stops budgeting per-minute rates the way Aircall and CloudTalk buyers still have to.
Ringover is a declared operator running its own routing and its own IP blocks across 17 data centres, and it states that European service data stays hosted in France, which shortens the security review a regulated client will put you through.
Numbers arrive as landline, mobile or toll-free across 65 countries with up to 20 per user on Business, and the European mobile numbers matter because a mobile caller ID gets answered where a foreign landline gets screened.
The public API pairs a documented REST surface with HMAC-signed webhooks that fire on ringing, missed calls, voicemail and transcription events, so call outcomes reach n8n, Clay or your warehouse without a middleware vendor in between.
Cadence sequences calls, email, SMS and LinkedIn steps from the same seat that dials, so a small European team runs prospecting cadences without signing for a separate sales engagement platform.
Call transcription, voicemail transcription and AI summaries are included on every plan down to the 20 euro entry tier, where CloudTalk sells conversation intelligence at 9 euros a seat and Aircall charges 9 dollars for AI Assist.
Cons
The parallel dialer runs two lines at a time and only works from US, UK and Spanish numbers, which leaves it far behind CloudTalk's ten-line dialer while costing more per seat at 49 dollars a month on top of the plan.
Every published plan carries a three-user minimum on a 12-month commitment, and Ringover's own terms price an early exit at the last invoice multiplied by every month remaining in the term.
Across the 1,068 reviews on Ringover's French Trustpilot profile the recurring complaint is auto-renewal landing without warning and billed rates drifting from the advertised ones, and the same theme repeats in the UK reviews.
The Power Dialer stops at 300 contacts per campaign with five simultaneous campaigns included, so a heavy outbound week means buying campaign extensions at 5 dollars and 2 dollars a licence to keep going.
A text message sent from a European Ringover number only reaches numbers in that same country, so any pan-European follow-up by SMS needs a separate messaging provider bolted on.
