Sybill

An AI sales assistant that records the call, writes the summary and the follow-up, fills your CRM fields, and still reads smiles and nods on Zoom video if you let it.

What is

Sybill

The behaviour reading that made Sybill famous is now a checkbox its own homepage never mentions. What the product sells today is an assistant that records your sales calls, writes the summary and the follow-up email, fills the CRM fields your team argues about, and answers questions across the pipeline. Capture runs three ways, through a bot that joins from your calendar on Zoom, Meet, Teams, Webex or Zoho, an Invisible Recorder desktop app that also picks up Slack huddles, and a phone app for meetings held in a room. Magic Summaries land in about five minutes and adapt to the meeting type. Above that sits Ask Sybill, a question box over calls, email, CRM and Slack that also reaches Claude through an MCP connector. The face reading still ships as an Engagement Map, marking where each Zoom participant was talking, engaged or drifting, and logging smiles and nods against the line that caused them. Buy Sybill for the CRM autofill and the follow-up drafting, and leave the behaviour reading switched off. We have not run it at Nebor, and Sybill's own docs say the feature adds half an hour to processing, while European rules on workplace emotion inference go unanswered on its trust centre.

Integrations and the modern GTM stack

Sybill wants to be the layer that sees everything a deal touches, so the connection list is arranged by source rather than by app name. The thing to count before you sign is how much of that grid is still marked coming soon.

Zoom, Google Meet, Teams, Webex and Zoho

Connect your calendar and Sybill detects supported meeting links on its own, joining as a bot and transcribing in more than 100 languages. The Invisible Recorder desktop app installs on Mac and Windows and covers Zoom, Meet, Teams and Slack huddles without a visible participant, and a mobile app plus file upload handles meetings held in a room.

HubSpot, Salesforce, Zoho CRM and Dynamics 365

An admin connects the CRM under Settings then Integrations, and Autofill reads your past entries to write a per-field prompt you can edit. It fills top-level text, number and select fields on Deal, Contact and Company records, and it cannot touch nested structures, multi-field custom objects or attachments. Business caps it at ten fields. Pipedrive and NetSuite are marked coming soon.

Gmail, Outlook and Zoho Mail

Email becomes part of the deal context rather than a separate log, so a requirement or a timeline change that only ever appeared in a reply still reaches the summary and the CRM. Follow-up drafts are written from the call and the thread together, in the writing style Sybill picks up from your sent mail.

Outreach, Zoom Phone and Salesloft

Dialer calls land in the same conversation history as the video meetings, which matters for a floor where SDRs work the phone and AEs work Zoom. Nooks, Aircall, RingCentral, the HubSpot dialer and the Salesforce dialer all sit on the coming soon list, so check the date on any comparison post that promises them.

Slack

Summaries post into channels with filters on participants, account, opportunity type, deal stage, amount, close date, meeting type and keyword trackers, so a leadership channel does not get every discovery call. The two-way version, where Slack threads feed deal context back in and the team can ask Sybill from Slack, starts on Business.

Claude and MCP

Added from Settings then Connectors in Claude. Sybill exposes Ask Sybill as a reasoning tool plus read-only tools for accounts, conversations and deals, and it recommends leaving Ask Sybill on always allow while the raw data tools stay on needs approval. MCP calls draw on AI credits, at roughly 300 to 400 for one deal analysis.

Gong and Chorus

Sybill migrates historical conversations out of both using their own APIs, which needs a Gong admin to mint an API key or a Sybill invite into your Chorus instance. You can also keep either platform running and pull its recordings into Sybill for cross-call answers, which is how Sybill sells itself to teams mid-contract.

API, webhooks, Zapier and Make

API and MCP access begin on Business, and webhook automations are configured under Settings then Integrations then Automations to fire when a recording finishes processing. Zapier and Make are documented as webhook destinations rather than as native apps, so anything outside the native list is a build rather than a toggle.

What is missing

No native connection to Clay, n8n or any cold email platform, and the Google Drive and Teams collaboration hooks are still promised rather than shipped. Behavioural signal only exists on Zoom video, so a Teams or Meet shop gets the transcript half of the product. The trust centre lists GDPR, ISO 27001, PCI DSS and SOC 2, with no HIPAA.

Pro’s

  • The free plan carries unlimited recording and transcripts, the desktop recorder and twenty AI summaries a month with no card, which makes it one of the few tools in this category you can run for a full quarter before paying anything.

  • Capture does not depend on the bot, since the Invisible Recorder desktop app covers Zoom, Meet, Teams and Slack huddles on Mac and Windows, while the phone app and file upload handle meetings held in a room.

  • CRM coverage reaches Zoho CRM and Dynamics 365 alongside Salesforce and HubSpot, and Autofill writes each field from a prompt you can edit after it reads how your team already writes those entries.

  • The credit meter leaves the always-on work free, because summaries, pre-meeting briefs, first-draft follow-ups and CRM Autofill cost nothing and only the analysis you ask for draws down the pool.

  • Sybill documents migration off Gong and Chorus through their own public APIs, and it will also sit alongside either one by pulling their recordings in, which takes the all-or-nothing decision out of a switch.

  • The MCP connector exposes Ask Sybill inside Claude with a documented permission setup, so a RevOps lead can run pipeline questions from a chat window instead of opening the app.

Cons

  • The behaviour reading Sybill was founded on now sits as an organisation-wide checkbox under recording settings, works on Zoom video alone, and pushes summary processing from about five minutes out to thirty or forty.

  • Article 5(1)(f) of the EU AI Act has banned inferring emotions in a workplace since February 2025, and the Sybill trust centre lists GDPR, ISO 27001, PCI DSS and SOC 2 without addressing that rule, so a European team needs an answer in writing before turning the feature on.

  • CRM Autofill stops at ten fields on the $90 Business plan while the page selling that feature promises a 100% fill rate and suggests starting with twenty to thirty core fields, and lifting the cap means an Enterprise quote.

  • Credits reset weekly with no rollover and come from one pool shared across the team, and a single deal analysis run through the MCP connector burns 300 to 400 of them, so heavy Claude users on Business will meet the $100 top-up bundle.

  • The integration grid is padded with entries marked coming soon, including Pipedrive, NetSuite, Nooks, Aircall, RingCentral and both CRM dialers, and the CRM Autofill FAQ still quotes a $79 Business price the pricing page has moved past.

How it fits your stack

Diagram showing how Sybill fits into a GTM stack: booked meetings (Calendly, Cal.com), dialers (Aircall, Orum) feed into Sybill, and its output flows to your crm (HubSpot, Salesforce), team channels (Slack, Notion).

Alternatives

Which alternative fits depends on the half of Sybill you came for. Attention is the closest match on CRM field autofill and methodology scoring, Avoma wraps scheduling and forecasting around the same kind of recorder, Fireflies is the cheaper transcript layer for a team that only wants notes in the CRM, and Gong is where deal inspection and forecasting get taken seriously at enterprise scale.
